After Kenyas’ coastal city Mombasa hosting AIDO’s 5th annual convention, it’s been decided that the 6th annual Convention will take place in South Africa, from the 24th to the 31st of October 2024.
According to AIDO South Africas’ Vice Chairperson Princess Pretty Mncube, South Africa will exceed all expectations as she detailed the teams plans for the upcoming convention.
The Head of the Aido Youth Network, Ms Thembisile Mahuwa (TM) enthusiastically expressed the youth’s interest for the conference and how the Convention will ensure youth inclusion and participation.
The country is the southernmost country on the African continent, renowned for its varied topography, great natural beauty, and cultural diversity, all of which have made the country a favoured destination for travelers since the legal ending of apartheid (Afrikaans: “apartness,” or racial separation) in 1994.
South Africa still holds some of Africas’ most authentic cultures and outstanding historical events inline with black emancipation among others. This and more is what may be expected from the AIDO 6th Annual Convention.
