Aido Appoints Global Vice President

The Board of Directors of Aido Network International is pleased to announce the appointment of His Excellency Ambassador Ireneo Namboka, as the Global Vice President of Aido Network International, effective immediately. 

In his new role, Ambassador Namboka, will be responsible for the organisation’s International relations and operations. 

His Excellency Amb. Ireneo Namboka has been very instrumental in developing the organisation’s strategic direction and establishing international cooperation with Key partners.

Amb. Namboka has a successful career as a diplomat and retired United Nations Advisor on Human Rights. He served in various capacities as a consultant, trainer, and mentor on key topics with an African focus, such as gender mainstreaming, the protection of civilians in conflict contexts, combating human trafficking, and the vital role of women in nation-building, peace-making and good governance.  

Since his retirement, he has worked with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) supporting Nations that provide soldiers (TCC) for United Nations peacekeeping operations. He has also served with the Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE) as a Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Expert, at the Rwanda Military Academy, Gako.  

Amb.Namboka comes with over 20 years’ experience in Diplomatic Corps, during this time he built strong connections with the Francophone countries of Africa.

HE. Amb Namboka will be of great support to the President of Aido and the Organisation at large.
