The World Peace Summit commenced yesterday

The World Peace Summit commenced yesterday, 20 February 2020, at Castle Kyalami, in Johannesburg, South Africa

Aido Network South Africa -(AIDO-SA) headed by Miss Tshepi Motloung, is hosting Aidoers this week. The Executive Committee of AIDO-SA has been working tirelessly over the last couple of months to host Aidoers for the World Peace Summit, and official launch of Aido Network South Africa.

The World Peace Summit is a three-day event themed, ‘Building a new civilisation of peace’ will have participation of delegations of Aidoers from Uganda, led by Papa Paul Sande Emolot, from Ghana with the Royal delegation led by HRH King Affram and Executive Director of Aido Ghana, Rev Dr. Abena Tay, and from UK led by Executive Director of Aido Global Network, Mr Paul Jones Eganda aka Prince Affram II.

Aido is privileged to bring along expertise from fellow Aidoers as Speakers to share their knowledge and experience on an international platform.

Day 1 – 20 February

2:25 Speaker Mr Richard Omongole, Lawyer Uganda . Topic Protection of the vulnerable (case study resent incident of young girls being sold for body parts in Uganda, the girls were recovered in Kenya).

2:50 Speaker Ghana Dr Abena Tay Peace Ambassador Ghana also Exec Director Aido Network Ghana Topic- Role of Religious Leaders in being the Voice of the Voiceless (Peace keeping among Homeless -Youth Human Rights)

Day 2 – 21 February

3:05pm Speaker HRH Prince Affram II Topic: Successful Leadership of Kingdoms & Micro Economies

3:40 Speaker Hon. Dr Bishop Patrick Okabe Member Parliament – Uganda. Uganda’s exemplary example of Kingdoms and Governments working in unity towards Economic development and Peace.
