The 6th AIDO Convention, themed “A United Africa: Reconnecting Through Culture, Pan-Africanism, Trade & Investment,” will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, from November 3rd to November 9th, 2024. This event is organized by the AIDO Network Nigeria chapter and will bring together prominent leaders, royalty, and influencers from across Africa and the diaspora to foster unity, business, and investment on the continent.
Among the key figures at the event will be His Highness Paul Jones Eganda, Global Leader of AIDO Network, symbolizing the network’s dedication to Pan-Africanism and the vision of a united global Africa. Other notable attendees include government and business leaders from various countries, including Kenya, the DRC, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, and the Caribbean.
The convention will celebrate African heritage and culture while emphasizing the role of trade and investment in achieving economic prosperity and sustainable development. By uniting leaders and influencers from diverse backgrounds, the event aims to strengthen the bonds between Africa and its diaspora, fostering a collective identity and shared purpose.
The Nigerian team, led by Otunba (Prince) Bimbo Roberts Folayan, Chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment (NDDIS) and AIDO board advisor on business and investment, will host a large group of investors from the United Kingdom and Asia. The AIDO model advocates for grassroots investment through traditional leaders who understand their communities’ needs and challenges.
