For students at Kamod Secondary School in Serere, water is not just a basic need. It is part of everyday life at school and without safe and reliable water, it is difficult for students to learn, stay healthy, and maintain good hygiene.

The school and the surrounding community continue to face challenges in accessing a dependable source of clean water and this is why Lady Kendal Jaggar Aminat and Chief Daniel wood Ongaria have started the “End the Road to Hell for Water” project to support Kamod Secondary School.

The project aims to provide the school with a reliable water source which will help students and staff have better access to water for drinking, washing, cleaning, and sanitation.

When students have water at school, they can spend less time looking for it and more time in the classroom. Better access to water can also improve hygiene and help reduce illnesses linked to unsafe water.

To support the project, Lady Kendal Jaggar and Chief Daniel wood Ongaria have launched a fundraising campaign with a target of £2,800. Friends, partners, well-wishers, and people who believe in supporting children and communities are invited to contribute.

Every contribution, big or small, is a step closer to securing water. Like many small drops filling a bucket, every donation can help to achieve this goal.

Through this initiative, Lady Kendal Jaggar and Chief Daniel wood Ongaria are turning concern into action and showing what can happen when people come together to support a community in need.

The main aim is to provide safe and reliable water supply for Kamod Ss and the community at large  and open a new road to health, education, dignity, and opportunity.
