In a grand celebration of cultural diplomacy, global unity, and leadership, Aido Network International (AIDO) will honour distinguished international figures in a traditional African ceremony. The event, taking place in Uganda during the upcoming Tour of Duty to Africa, will bring together royalty, dignitaries, and esteemed global leaders to celebrate an occasion deeply rooted in African heritage.
At the heart of this prestigious gathering is the formal recognition of Her Royal Highness Princess Kendal Aminat (Lady Dr. Kendal Jaggar), a UN Peace Ambassador and philanthropist, who will be honoured for her outstanding contributions to peace and global diplomacy with Jaggar Street. She will be joined by QM Dr. Angela Soong, His Excellency Dr. Daniel Keith Wood, Chief Kenvin Cameron Husbands, Dr. Caroline Purvey, and Dr. Nick Neculai. All will be inducted into African chieftaincy under the AIDO Royal Community, an honour reflecting their deep commitment to bridging cultures, fostering prosperity, and promoting sustainable development in Africa.
His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr) Bashir Albishir Bukar Machinama, Emir of Machina, Yobe State, Nigeria (OON, L’ONN), along with other notable African Kings and Queens, is expected to attend this historic event, highlighting the enduring significance of traditional governance in modern international relations.
Adding to the grandeur, a delegation of philanthropists and UN Peace Ambassadors will travel to Uganda to engage with traditional leaders, reinforcing the role of indigenous leadership in shaping a more harmonious world.
During the tour, the delegation will also take part in the Pan-African Day Celebration on May 25 at the invitation of the Ugandan government. The group will visit Teso and other kingdoms to engage with HRH Paul Sande Emolot, King of Iteso, and His Royal Highness Won Ateker Papa Me Kumam, Raphael Otaya. They will support humanitarian efforts in Teso, providing essential medical equipment to local health centers and schools, aligning with AIDO’s broader mission to empower communities and strengthen global partnerships.
